Encodr respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on Encodr infringes your copyright, you can request its removal under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

How to file a notice

Send a written notice to the contact below including:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and where it appears in the app (e.g. deck name, chapter, card)
• Your name, address, phone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

What happens next

We'll review valid notices and remove or disable access to the material in question. If you believe content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same contact and we'll follow the standard DMCA counter-notice process.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. A user whose published content is removed on valid notices more than once may have their account suspended or terminated.
